“If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.”
-Milton Berle
A week of curveballs and opportunities, kittens, with a little time needing to be spent at the office this weekend to help out a coworker. Meanwhile, Jeff is studying for his last set of exams in November and living at his office on the weekends. Make no mistake, getting ahead in London isn’t easy…but we doing it.
Here are you links, tell me what you’re getting up to this weekend in the comments!
One of the ladies I work with as part of a freelance marketing agency is also just starting her masters degree in social work–because she requires no sleep, apparently! And she’s just started a small side project of her own as well. In her own words, since she deals with a lot of the dark side of people and humanity, she wanted to create a space dedicated to “seeking, sharing, and celebrating joy.” Join in. #ShareYourJoys

“It might seem frivolous to be talking about stories at a time like this…No, it’s not.”
What a doll.
Language warning. And also spit take warning.
Relevant to my (medieval) interests. Also, I think I may be a rooster?
Goodness, our supercluster is pretty! But things here in the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the galaxy (points for reference) are pretty good too.
Not enough music round these parts, let’s rectify that, shall we?
True story about how the wall paper in one of our show flats on one of our properties is so genuinely gorgeous that I stroked it for a while the first time I saw it. TMI? Don’t care. We work with lux materials and I revel in it. Ergo, wallpaper has become a bit of a mini-obsession for me lately and this leopard design (NOT, leopard print, note) is speaking to me on some primal level.
Jeff is 30 in two months…and according to this list, we’re still slightly hopeless. I’ll never be able to keep a plant alive…
Loved the wallpaper….but I prefer the blue dots!
