And…the freezer is acting up. It switched itself off somehow (we hope it just got jostled in the Great Washer Wrangling),  defrosted itself and we just had to clean up thaw spillage from all over the kitchen floor.

Crisis managed. Back to the To Do list. I will not be thwarted by domestic appliances!
