“And marbled clouds go scudding by
The many-steepled London sky.”
― John Betjeman
Not too bad, huh! The storage closet was the substance that sealed the deal, but I fully acknowledge that the view was the style.
If you look closely you can see the spire of Big Ben and the top of the Houses of Parliament in the middle left amongst the cranes. We’ve got the top of the London Eye as well. Further right of the Shard we’ve also got a view of the Gherkin, but it’s mostly obscured by council housing building projects.
I’m so glad that you and Jeff’s hard work has paid off and that you both have made it to London…together. It seems like since I first met you (during your engagement) that you talked of London. It’s refreshing to see other’s dreams become a reality. Much love in your new chapter of life sent to you from Utah 🙂
Thanks, lovely.
Wow, that’s a fantastic view! We’ve got a bit of City lights, but you have to climb up to our roof to get them…yours looks a little easier to get to. 🙂
I’m shamelessly pleased about it, I can’t lie. Not even the copious amounts of pigeon droppings on the balcony can diminish the thrill!
